I loved the architecture inside and out in this town. It is the only city in Cuba built and designed by the French. Sitting on the ocean only added to it’s beauty.

Toured an old theatre **Teatro Thomas Terry Theatre**, the interior decorating looked like it hadn’t been changed since the 1800’s. Simply stunning.

Teatro Tomas Terry — Inside the theater, beautiful gold leaf can still be seen. Carrara marble, hand-carved Cuban hardwoods and beautiful ceiling frescoes also remain untouched.

restaurant Cienfuegos — Lunch on the coast at **Villa Lagarto** located at Calle 35 #4 bre/oy Litoral, La Puenta, Gorda by the sea.

villa lagarto cienfuegos restaurant, cuba — I loved the atmosphere of this place. It overlooks the bay of Cienfuegos which is calm and protected from the sea. Such a quiet romantic place with water pools all around the inside of the restaurant. It is on the tip of a peninsula. The only thing further on the tip is the **La Puenta beach**.

Chamber orchestra event off the cuba main square — We attended a chamber orchestra private ceremony off the main square in Cienfuegos, Cuba.

Homeless dogs Cuba — Homeless dogs are everywhere in Cuba. I made this dog’s day by waking him up from a nap for his first taste of meat in a long time.
